“The ants are a people not strong, yet they prepare their meat in the summer;” (Proverbs 30 : 25)
Ant is so wise that he prepares his food before the arrival of winter. Ants do not move in the winter because a single drop of rain can kill them. So it has to stay in Indoors during the winter because it cannot gather his food. So it must gather his food in the summer and winter.
So we need that kind of wisdom as well; in our lives, we will have conflicts and times of peace. There are gaps between conflicts and peace in our lives.
When there are no conflicts and only peace, that is the summer season, and that is when we should gather food for the time of conflict, which is the winter season.
What do we do when we are at peace? We pray less, but when we are in struggle and conflict in our lives, we pray even by crying and fasting. Attend church and wish to grow closer to God.
In times of peace, if we do not have closer relationship with God, we will be helpless and will fail in our lives, when we face conflicts in our lives.
We need to get closer to God, pray more, and connect with Him. What we receive as goodness and grace from God, we must preserve because it will help us when we face conflicts in our lives.
Let God grant us the grace to spend more time with God so that when the advisory comes into our lives, we will be able to withstand it.
